ACMT Pre-Meeting | Up for Debate: Addressing Controversies in Poisoning
It is a challenge to know what is best in the management of poisoned patients. Can the standard be improved or is the “latest advance” really a step back? You’ve addressed the details of basic supportive care but what next? Should you pursue traditional hemodialysis or a newer modality of renal replacement therapy? Should you give the antidote or try anti-don’t? Is that an incidental finding or an actionable result? This exciting symposium will feature leading toxicologists in lively debates to help resolve these toxicology controversies.
