Clandestine Methamphetamine Laboratories In an effort to address the important public health issue of clandestine methamphetamine laboratories (“clan meth labs”), the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) and the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT), with the support of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), joined together to develop this publication to provide health educators and other health care professionals with the information, resources, and guidelines available for addressing clan meth labs at the community level. |

ACMT Seminars in Forensic Toxicology - Stimulants The goal of this seminar is to provide an intensive course on the forensic aspects of stimulants. Leaders in the field cover issues pertaining to biochemistry, toxicokinetics, clinical effects, and laboratory determinations and interpretation of many of the agents within this important class of drugs. Issues related to the neurobiology of impairment will be presented. Special emphasis will be given to a thorough understanding of the scientific and clinical basis for stimulant forensic cases. |
