Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UASOM) and American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT). The UASOM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Alabama School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 25.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

There is still time to purchase CME credits for your participation in this event. In order to receive CME, course attendees must:

  1. Register for CME
  2. Watch the sessions live during the event, April 13-16, 2021. You can't claim credit for watching a recording of a session after the live event.
  3. Submit a record of attendance on the Attendance Log 
  4. Complete the Evaluation Survey

After everyone who has registered for CME has submitted their attendance information and completed the conference survey, ACMT will send this information to the University of Alabama (UAB). UAB will process all CME registrations and then email the certificates directly to registrants. This process typically takes 6-8 weeks after the event, depending on how timely registrants are with submitting their attendance and surveys.
