The ACMT Forum
The ACMT Forum is a moderated internet listserver facilitating national and international consultation and discussion among the clinical toxicology & public health community. The ACMT Forum features content regarding environmental toxicology, including topics such as the use of a chelation provocation test in the diagnosis of autism, brain rehabilitation and lead intoxication, pulmonary fibrosis associated with the use of a biocide in humidifiers, rodenticide poisoning, pyrethroid exposure, and copper levels during pregnancy. Postings and discussions in the ACMT Forum are permanently archived on the ACMT website, where their contents are available for searching and retrieval in support of ongoing education. The ACMT Forum has 640 subscribers that include almost all of the ACMT membership, as well as numerous public health and toxicology professionals in the US and worldwide. ACMT offers active participation in the ACMT Forum to public health officials at all levels of the government, as well as members of allied toxicology organizations such as AACT, AAPCC, AOEC, WHO, EAPCCT and others. A newly added RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feature allows subscribers to follow discussions in near-real time using RSS feeds. The RSS system will facilitate use of the forum for toxicological discussion and updates during rapidly unfolding toxicological emergencies.
