2019 Fellows-in-Training Lecture
The ACMT Annual Scientific Meeting is designed to serve as a powerful catalyst for engaging the next generation of Medical Toxicology clinicians and researchers. To further this end, each year ACMT offers a lecture specifically for Fellows-in-Training that addresses how to pursue a successful career in Medical Toxicology.
This year's FIT lecture, The Utility of Advanced Degrees for Your Toxicology Career, will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 12:00-1:30 pm. Three panelists will provide fellows with an overview of non-traditional degrees available to them. The degrees to be discussed include: Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Healthcare Education, Masters of Science, and PhDs. Details of each degree will be discussed with a particular focus on how they enhance your toxicology training. A question and answer period will allow participants to gain further insight in how the panel members are using them to enhance their careers.
This year's event also includes a luncheon sponsored by Bayer.
