Updates in Drug-Impaired Driving

2021 NACCT in Atlanta, GA
October 17, 2021

Every aspect of the impaired driving problem, from impaired driving prevention initiatives to impaired driving recognition and successful litigation of impaired driving cases through testimony and laboratory confirmation, will benefit from a greater understanding of the drugs in question. This line-up of experts in their field has extensive experience with the clinical effects and laboratory detection of alcohol, cannabis, synthetic cannabinoids, synthetic cathinones, amphetamines, cocaine, and opioids (among others). This team of educators in impaired driving will provide educational content to all key players in impaired driving work, including clinicians ordering and interpreting analytical confirmatory testing, specialists in poison information coding the results of such testing, and educators reaching out to community stakeholders in impaired driving mitigation.
