An Alternative to Disposable N95s:
The Reusable Elastomeric Half-Mask
Respirator Experience
NIOSH Certified Equipment List
High demand and limited supply of N95 filtering facepiece respirators (FFRs) has led healthcare organizations to rely on other types of respirators, such as reusable elastomeric half-mask respirators (EHMRs). Long-used in industry settings, these non-powered reusable cartridge respirators are considered equivalent in filtering and respiratory protection to single-use N95s in the healthcare setting.
This week’s webinar will feature a panel discussion with representatives from healthcare organizations sharing their experiences and lessons learned from implementing and using EHMRs in a clinical care setting, both before and during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
