EAPCCT Congress - Madrid, Spain
May 24 - 27, 2016
The EAPCCT is now well into the planning of the 36th EAPCCT Congress, which will be held in Madrid, Spain from 25-27 May 2016, with the pre-congress educational day being held on 24 May. Click here for themes and topics for the main congress and abstract submission guidelines.
This year the EAPCCT has gone into partnership with Grupo Pacifico, a Professional Congress Organiser company. Grupo Pacifico will be undertaking much of the organisation of the congress, although the EAPCCT Scientific and Meetings Committee will continue to be responsible for the scientific content and accreditation of the programme. Abstract submission, abstract review and congress registration will be managed through a newly designed dynamic interface. Whilst this will be broadly similar to the previous system you will notice a more modern look, and slight changes in requirements for those submitting abstracts. Word counts and formatting remain as before, although you can more easily edit work before finally submitting. As before – once submitted, no further changes can be made.
A link to the new abstract submission tool is available at http://www.eapcct.org/index.php?page=congress1. Abstract submission deadline is 9 November and we strongly recommend you look at the requirements and declarations before processing your abstracts, and leave yourself enough time to complete the forms before the submission deadline. There will be plenty of guidance on the website pages themselves. Inevitably there may be the odd glitch, but bear with us and our new partners as we resolve these and develop our relationship.
The EAPCCT Board is very excited at these new developments which we hope will enhance your experience; at the same time we remain confident that the family feel of the EAPCCT Congress will remain a strong feature! Lisa Breitner is continuing to be the EAPCCT’s main liaison for the congress, and we are delighted she has agreed to continue to support us in this way!
So – get ready, submit your original and exciting findings and research and come and enjoy the delights of fabulous Madrid in May!
