NACCT is rapidly approaching and our next meeting will be Saturday, October 27th at 7:30 am. We will provide an update on upcoming projects and events, announce our selection for the winter book club, and we have an exciting workshop planned.
In the spirit of professional development, we have organized an interactive session designed to help you develop and fine tune your curriculum vitae. We will address common pitfalls and struggles including what activities to include and how to best organize individual sections of your CV. After a brief overview, the majority of the meeting will be spent in small groups with an expert who will go through your CVs, highlighting strengths and weakness and areas for improvement. (Some references are included for your review)
Please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) a copy of your current CV (remove your name if you prefer to keep it anonymous) and we will assign you to a group with our expert volunteers. If you prefer not to use your own CV, you can still attend and learn from others! We welcome WIT members from all levels of training to attend.
Many thanks to our group leaders Jeanmarie Perrone, Jon Cole, Brenna Farmer, Lewis Nelson, and Michelle Ruha for agreeing to be our expert volunteers.
We look forward to seeing you all at NACCT!
