Goals & Objectives

  • Goal 1: Develop and implement a fundraising plan to support the growth and financial sustainability of both the Medical Toxicology Foundation and the American College of Medical Toxicology.

    • Objective 1:

      • To increase individual giving by 20% annually over the next three years as measured by both the number and dollar amount of gifts received in the annual giving campaign.

    • Objective 2:  

      • To increase corporate giving to both the MTF and ACMT as measured by the increased engagement with corporate supporters and the dollar amount raised.

    • Objective 3:
      • To increase foundation giving and government grants to support the work of both the MTF and ACMT as measured by the increased engagement with funders and dollar amount raised.

    • Objective 4:
      • To increase legacy giving opportunities that will help to sustain the work of the MTF and ACMT for the long term

    • Objective 5:
      • To increase individual donor, corporate, and foundation supporter engagement as measured by donor retention, renewed or new corporate or foundation support.

    • Objective 6:

      • Ensure organization is providing optimal support to ensure fundraising success as measured by the growth in giving and support to both MTF and ACMT.
  • Goal 2: Create a comprehensive, integrated communications plan to facilitate increase awareness of the Medical Toxicology Foundation, its purpose, and the impact of giving on both the MTF and ACMT.

    • Objective 1:

      • To increase ACMT’s membership’s awareness of the Medical Toxicology Foundation’s mission and purpose as measured by member giving and engagement with the Foundation.

    • Objective 2:

      • To increase the awareness of the public, medical and non-member communities of the Medical Toxicology Foundation’s mission and purpose as measured by the number of communications focused on non-member/outside constituents.
  • Goal 3: Engage the community outside the medical toxicology field to bring a broader scope of donors and support to both the MTF and ACMT

    • Objective:

      • Engagement of constituents outside of the ACMT membership as measured by the number of new relationships developed or existing outside relationships enhanced
  • Goal 4: Ensure the Medical Toxicology Foundation’s grants and awards program is sustainable and shows growth.

    • Objective:

      • Grow the MTF grants and awards program by 25% by 2024 as measured by the number of grants given, dollar amount awarded, and dollar amount raised to support program.
