Jointly sponsored by the Medical Toxicology Foundation and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Foundation, the mission of the grant is to provide support for research proposals that advance the science of medical toxicology in emergency medicine, fostering collaboration between members of ACMT and SAEM.

The scope of this award is intended to be broad and creative. Proposals may be clinical or nonclinical in nature, but must have relevance to the practice of medical toxicology. All proposals that support the mission of the Foundation will be considered. We welcome grants with either a research or an innovative teaching focus.

Applications Accepted on a Rolling Basis
The MTF provides funding for a number of research grants for medical toxicologists and trainees, and travel scholarships for medical students and residents. Occasionally, requests come to the MTF that do not fit in these timeframes or existing guidelines. The MTF has set up a small discretionary fund to consider these requests. The maximum request amount is $5,000.
