Full Membership is for board-certified and formally trained medical toxicologists who are actively shaping the field through clinical care, education, research, and leadership.
Full Membership is available to physicians who have:
- Been certified in the subspecialty of Medical Toxicology by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), the American Board of Pediatrics, or the American Board of Preventive Medicine, or
- Completed a two-year ACGME-accredited medical toxicology fellowship and received the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Medical Toxicology from the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM), or
- Been certified by the former American Board of Medical Toxicology
