Welcome to the front-row seat of medical toxicology.

Whether you’re on rotations, in the ED, or deep in residency training, this is your chance to see how toxicology actually works in real life, not just in lectures. This membership is designed for learners who want real cases, real experts, and real community.

Medical Student Membership – $25/year

Medical Student Membership is open to students enrolled in an accredited medical school. Members enjoy reduced dues and full access to ACMT’s educational resources, networking opportunities, and professional community—while noting that voting, holding office, or becoming a Fellow are reserved for full members. Membership lasts for the duration of your medical school training.

Resident Membership – $40/year

Resident Membership is available to physicians currently enrolled in a residency program in any medical specialty. Resident members also benefit from reduced dues, access to the full suite of member privileges, and the opportunity to connect with experts and peers in medical toxicology, with membership continuing throughout your residency program.

Membership offers many benefits:

  • Monthly National Case Conference with complex, board-relevant cases
  • Journal Club and Grand Rounds with practicing experts
  • 100+ hours of on-demand toxicology education
  • Discounted registration for ACMT courses and meetings
  • Direct access to fellows, faculty, and international toxicology leaders
  • A community that helps you think through real toxicologic problems on shift

Don’t Know an ACMT Member? That’s Okay!

Our membership applications ask for references, but we understand that not everyone has a personal connection with an ACMT member, especially if you’re new to the field or just discovering our community.

If you don’t have an ACMT member to serve as a reference, simply complete the short statement included in the application. We’ll ask you to share what you hope to gain from ACMT membership, how you hope to contribute to the College and its community, and why you’re interested in joining.

In place of member references, the Membership Committee will review your statement along with your CV and will reach out if they have any additional questions.
Please don’t let a lack of personal connections within ACMT discourage you from applying. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and career stages, and we’re always excited to meet future members who are passionate about medical toxicology.
