Career Achievement Award Announcement: Mark Kirk

Congratulations to Mark Kirk, MD, DFACMT!

The American College of Medical Toxicology is pleased to recognize Mark Kirk, MD, DFACMT, as the recipient of the 2027 ACMT Career Achievement Award.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Kirk has made significant contributions to medical toxicology through leadership, mentorship, public health preparedness, and service to ACMT. He has established and directed three medical toxicology fellowship programs, trained generations of toxicologists, and played a key role in national preparedness for chemical disasters and emerging public health threats, including leading the Department of Homeland Security’s ChemPREP program. Dr. Kirk has also served on the ACMT Board of Directors and in numerous leadership roles within ACMT.

We are grateful for his decades of service and lasting impact on our specialty. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Kirk on this well-deserved honor and save the date to hear him speak at our Annual Scientific Meeting in April!
