Board of Directors FIT Program
The ACMT Board of Directors FIT Program is intended to introduce the fellow to the process of board governance, non-profit budget construction, and activities of the College. The appointment will provide the fellow with an experience that will enhance his/her career in medical toxicology and help him or her develop leadership skills that could lead to later participation as a committee chair or a board member of a non-profit organization.
JMT FIT Editor Program
The fellow-in-training appointment to the Editorial Board of Journal of Medical Toxicology is intended to introduce the fellow to the process of peer review, editing, and publishing of medical research manuscripts. The appointment will provide the fellow with an experience that will enhance his/her career in medical toxicology and in scientific publication, and develop skills that could lead to later participation as a peer reviewer or editorial board member for a scientific journal.
ToxIC FIT Program
The ToxIC FIT Program is intended to introduce the fellow to the process of organizing, designing, and administering a large multicenter research and surveillance program. The appointment will provide the fellow with an experience that will enhance his/her career in medical toxicology and help them develop an understanding of multi-center research and dealing with federal and non-governmental funders.
